Lovers in Paris
I feel so lucky that I get to travel while doing what I love.After landing in Paris and recovering for a few days from jet lag, I did a couple’s shoot with Ngahuia and Gil who took me on a tour to the best spots only locals could know!
Ngahuia is a Kiwi expat who chose to settle down in Paris to be with Gil after navigating a long distance relationship. This shoot took place not long before they became husband and wife so it’s fitting that their backdrop be the city of love.
I chose to capture them in a very cinematic documentary style, which I think matches their personalities, and Paris perfectly. It’s obvious from these images how in love they are and I will always have such a strong memory of these two lovely people and the incredible surroundings around them.
